KISS Cafe

I had got tired of Policing and after 16 years was looking for a small business opportunity that could give me time with my kids, and something my wife and I could try together. I also wanted something that was going to be in demand, with some growth, and could support us financially.

This business ticks so many boxes for me,with the time to do things I could never have done before, and with a new client base that are always happy to see me. This is a big plus after being a policeman where many people only liked you when you were helping them.

I've asked myself some questions on whether I did the right thing, but now after 2 years, I'm really enjoying it and my wife thinks I'm a different person with a lot less stress.

We bought into the KISS Cafe Franshise in March 2006, and have never looked back.  We enjoy the outdoor work, the fact that we are bringing a much craved-for product to customers' place of work, providing them with the convenience of ordering (from a trained Barista) their choice of a freshly brewed coffee, or other beverage and also offering a high-quality option to the fast-food takeaway without leaving their work place.

A KISS Cafe served me in my previous work place and that was how I was introduced to this franshise system.  We enjoyed the high quality beverage and service and we started considering this business.  After speaking with the Franchisor, we were certain that this was the kind of small business to be in.

The present franchise system is a close knitted one.  Communication between the Franchisees is good and this is one thing I enjoy about being in it.  The Franchisor is very easily accessible and helpful, and this makes "emergencies" easier to handle.

This "Cafe" is unique in that the hours are very flexible.  We are not restricted to "Opening" and "Closing" hours as in a "shop" Cafe.

Although the customer contact hours are mainly from 7.00am to 1.30pm, there are many hours put into the business in the form of preparation and other administrative duties.  It is hard work and requires good organistional skills.

We would certaining recommend KISS Cafe as a small business to anyone considering wanting to "KISS Their Old Job Goodbye".

Since joinning KISS Cafe is the best move I've ever made, in long time, the money is great the hours are  great and the support that you get from the Franchisor is first class.

After being in the Restaurant business for many many years and working nights this was just a like a breath of fresh air , the perfect job for me.

It's a fun business that allows me to be outside networking and meeting lots of new people and at the same time genarating great income.

I also wanted a business that provided flexibility for me and my daughter and KISS Cafe does all this and more.

I'm so happy with the way things are going that we will be having a great holiday by christmas.

I would happily recommend KISS Cafe to any one interested in going into there own business.
